The story behind AI Democratix

After 20 years at Microsoft, helping enterprises across Asia Pacific adopt new technologies, I'd seen the pattern repeat itself. Organisations would invest millions in new tools, run a few training sessions, and then watch as adoption stalled.

When AI, and specifically Microsoft Copilot, entered the picture, the stakes got higher. This wasn't just another software rollout. AI changes how people think about their work. It creates anxiety about job security. It demands new mental models.

Most AI training I saw was failing the same way: impressive demos that didn't translate to daily habits. Generic prompts that didn't fit real workflows. No follow-through, no measurement, no lasting change.

I founded AI Democratix to fix this. We partner with HR, L&D, IT/Transformation teams, and business leaders to design AI upskilling programs that actually stick.
